Bleeding during a yeast infection treatment – normal?
abbey_c_white asked:
I have (what I think is) a yeast inffection and am treating it with an over the counter dipository and cream for the itching. I have never had to treat a yeast infection before, they have always been mild and gone away on their own. It’s a 3 day treatment and last night was the first day. Today I am bleeding! I know that the package said that there would be some extra discharge, but is this normal??

I have been on birth control pills for about 6 months now and in a faithful relationship for over 2 years now. I do not have health insurance, so I really don’t want to go to the doctor unless I absolutely have to.
Please help!!!

How effective is over the counter yeast infection treatment?
Hallie asked:
I have a yeast infection, but I don’t have insurance so I can’t go see a doctor.
I was searching the net, & apparently there is a lot of controversy about Monistat, etc.
I was just wondering if anyone has used an OTC treatment to cure the infection, and if so, which one?
Thanks so much.
