Spotting after Yeast infection treatment?

I used Monistat 1 the night before last and it burned SO bad all day yesterday. I called my gyno and he called me in a diflucan. I’ve used both of these medications before, but I guess I’ve never had a yeast infection this bad. I did the diflucan last night. I’m not burning anymore, but now I’m itching bad and I have light spotting. Is this normal?

How long of a wait to have sex after treatment of yeast infection?

I used the monistat 1 combo pack last night b4 going to bed. It was like 10:00pm and it’s now noon the next day. On the info packet it says to wait to have sex until after treatment. It doesnt specify how long the “treatment” is. Since I used the one dose combo pack is it just like the one day?
